NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) #shares are expected to open 0.2% lower when Nasdaq opens on Wednesday, extending a nearly 1% drop on Tuesday. This comes despite yet another significant revenue beat for the fabless #semiconductor giant in the third quarter with sales of $18.12 billion, more than triple what it reported in the year-ago quarter and well above #WallStreet expectations of $16.18 billion. Nvidia’s stock rallied nearly 5% in post-market trading after CEO Jensen Huang delivered another “beat and raise” quarter. NVIDIA rose to US$954, once again setting a record high, and its market value has reached US$2.35 trillion. According to the Financial Associated Press, a comparison chart produced by industry insiders shows that NVIDIA's current market value is equivalent to the sum of "TSMC + ASML + AMD + Qualcomm + Applied Materials + Texas Instruments + Micron + Intel". NVIDIA will announce its performance report for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025 in the early morning of Thursday morning Beijing time. Wall Street expects Nvidia's revenue to increase by 240% to US$24.6 billion in the first fiscal quarter, and net profit to increase by 540% to US$13.1 billion. All Eyes on Nvidia Earnings The big upcoming catalyst for both bulls and bears is Nvidia’s quarterly earnings report, which is expected to cross around May 22.
