A meeting was organized on 24/2/2024 at Sasang Panchayat of Latehar District regarding membership of GPPFT Forum at Panchayat level with the support of PRI member. The meeting starts with the introduction of each participating member. *Paricipated member* : Approx 15 members including PRI members, Saiya, sevika, teachers, member of Panchat Samiti , member self-help groups, other citizens engaged in small businesses and children participated in the meeting. *Theme* : Theme 6 – Self-sufficient Infrastructure . Topic discussed : • SDG goals were discussed • Discussed about 6 no theme and what types of work it entails and how it is interconnected with other themes. • Discussed how GPPFT members will work together. • Discussed about GPDP . • Zero drop out was discussed. Also the reasons for dropout and how to solve it were discussed. • Discussed about low cost no cost activities. *Drop out children* : About 4 to 5 children were present out of which 3 dropped out. They said that due to family problems and long distance from home to school, they could not get admission. *Activities* : • Placing a banner implies that it will take a long time if one does it alone, but They worked together so time was taken very little . • How to Collect 5 Chairs in 5 Seconds by Mukhiya ji. *Drop out children* :  The teacher and Mukhiya ji talked to the drop out children those were present there and mentioned by them that they will work on it.

One of the most important things that may take your rendition to the next level and also make it smooth is to stop using unneeded words, and here are some common things that I was trying to overcome: 1- "الآن سوف نبدأ بفحص الملفات الخاصة بك" 2- "تم رفض القرار" Instead of that, you may just say 1- "الآن سنبدأ بفحص ملفاتك" 2- "رُفِض القرار" Are there any other examples that you noticed, either in your own rendition or others?

#Dhubri_Update 27th Feb, 2024 #Objective 🔶 Conducted a meeting with Secretaries of 7 GPs of Aspirational Block Birsing Jarua to discuss LSDG themes and plan Low Cost and No Cost activities. 🔶 Discussed the functionality of GPPFT Forums. #Participants BDO Of Birsing Jarua block Secretaries of 7 GPs of Aspirational Block Birsing Jarua Aspirational block Fellow Debarati C. and Monirul Islam (PL) Shubham Kumar (Batch-15 fellow) Shweta Singh and Puja Ghosh (Batch-16 fellow) #Flow_of_the_Meeting 🔶 Discussed maintaining functionality of GPPFT Forums created earlier this month. 🔶 Addressed LSDG themes and guided GPs without selected themes on how to choose based on current situations and major issues. 🔶 Planned Low Cost and No Cost activities aligned with LSDG themes. #Key_Points_Added 🔶 Explored the history of LSDG Theme selection in previous years. 🔶 Emphasized the role of local people and GPPFT Forums in the theme selection process. 🔶 Revealed that themes were randomly selected in the past, leading to a decision to orient the selection process. 🔶 Decided to strengthen GPPFT Forums, conduct need analysis, and select themes based on identified needs to enhance decentralization and people participation. 🔶 Achieved consensus among BDO, Secretaries, and GPC ( Gram Panchayat cordinator) on these points. #Way_Forward 🔶 Agreed to create a WhatsApp group for efficient communication among Secretaries. 🔶 Scheduled a specific date for further discussions on LSDG-themed activities with all GPPFT Forums members in respective GPs.
