❓🤨❓🤨 💡Where did you see yourself at 10 years from starting your career? 💡Are you there? 💡What has positively or negatively impacted your career path? 💡Are you making changes to your career journey? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Over 10 years ago I became a licensed physical therapist. I saw myself working in a hospital or outpatient setting, and potentially teaching. I'm not there and I'm okay with it. Circumstances and injury happened to transition me out of direct patient care. For a number of years, I have worked as a program manager, director, quality assurance, clinical support, really whatever I can to support the team and patients achieve success. Because of this, the pressures of insurances, and individuals who haven't always had the best interest of the patient in mind, I've sought reprieve. I have worked hard on identifying my transferable skills and sought out new ways to learn different concepts to help prepare me to further my career pivot. I've also been pushing myself to network and build relationships with others not only to benefit myself, but hopefully them as well. I keep not only hoping, but physically working on myself and my resume to make this change happen. ↪️↪️↪️↪️ 💡Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years? #nonclinical #physicaltherapy #occupationaltherapy #speechtherapy #programmanagement #productmanagement #consulting #medicaldevicesales

Also PT of 25+ years. Knew I would need a knee replacement someday but expected 10 years from now. Did not know I had hip dysplasia for which I needs hip replacements first. So I pivoted and now a clinical liaison!!!! Next 10 years—-who knows!
