Welcome to October, everyone! The FIRST month of the LAST quarter of the year! If that doesn't completely stress you out, then you should be studied. Now is the time to FOCUS! Don't worry about what has or has not happened yet this year. FOCUS on what is going to make a difference this month; right now. What can you totally narrow in on and make moves towards in the next 3 months? Do just that. Everything else can take a back seat. FOCUS. #focus #findfocus #welcomeoctober #octobergoals

I didn't pick the name of my company at random. There was a reason that CLARITY was a part of my brand. It is a part of my mission as a coach to create a safe and productive space for clients to find clarity. So let's find it! #clarity #findclarity #hireacoach

Coaching can be very therapeutic. Maybe it is the additional space to reflect or share your perspective. Or it could be having someone really listen. **I am NOT a licensed therapist. **I am happy to refer clients to therapists when necessary. **I am also happy to explain that certain topics should be addressed with a therapist rather than a coach.

We may think that a to-do list should only include the really important tasks or the priorities or the work stuff. NO! The whole point of a to-do list is to have a place where all those little tasks can live so you don't have to use your brain power to remember them. You can use your energy for the more important things, the actual DOING, not the remembering to do. There is nothing that should NOT be on your list. Reminders, birthday gifts to buy, phone calls, emails to write . . . a to-do list is a great spot for all these things!

There are managers that have excellent leadership skills and care about growing and developing themselves and their team. There are also managers who are thrown into their management role and have no desire to further their skills coaching and guiding others. And there are excellent leaders that have not yet been put in a position where they can really let their skills shine. Titles are somewhat meaningless when it comes to how much you can learn from someone or how much they can prove to be a mentor for you. #leadership

October has a lot of significance. October is the first FULL month of Fall. The first full month of the 4th Quarter of the calendar year. It is also often when the stress of year end really starts to hit. We are close enough to the end of year that we get overwhelmed. Just a reminder that thinking positively has a lot to do with productivity. If you think you will get what you need to get done, chances are, you will be right! If you use up all your energy stressing and worrying, there is less energy left over to actually do the things causing stress and worry. Enjoy the season, stay focused, and eat Resse's. #halloween365 #hellooctober

Honesty is the best policy so here is an unabridged list of the books I have read (so far) this year. Some notes below: **Some of these were audiobooks but that still counts! **I like readying one fiction and one non-fiction book at the same time so there is a mix here **any book I didn't finish, doesn't make the list and there were plenty that I didn't finish **not all these books I would recommend :-) #readinglist #readmore
