Earlier this week I got an email from one of my travel partners that the resort my clients were going to stay at would not be completed in time for their trip. The client could either cancel their stay or move until later when the resort would be scheduled for completion. In this case, the client was able to book at a new resort during the same week. This is the risk when booking a trip at a brand-new resort, or cruise ship. There is always the possibility it might not be completed in time for the trip you are going on. I recommend having a backup plan for my clients who want to book accommodations at brand-new resorts. That is a resort or activity that we can easily move to in case something goes wrong. Many people don't think of back up plans when they travel, but with so many moving variables, it's always good to have one. Do you make a backup plan when you travel? #travel #backupplan.
