ANGA COM starts on 14 May 2024 – Already 450 Exhibitors on 25,000 sqm 10 weeks before its start, ANGA COM has already exceeded the threshold of 450 exhibitors from 35 countries. The gross exhibition space amounts to 25,000 sqm. The date is 14 to 16 May 2024 in Cologne / Germany. At ANGA COM, network operators, vendors and content providers will meet in Europe's largest metropolitan region for broadband and media. The ticket shop for conference and exhibition visitors is open on the website www.angacom.de. Dr. Peter Charissé, CEO ANGA COM: “We are already at the record level of the previous year. The fiber optic boom goes on. We are particularly pleased about the numerous expansions of stand space by medium-sized vendors and the strong presence of the fiber network operators themselves. The Cologne area is and remains the heart of the German telecommunications and media industry; there is no other place in Germany and Europe where so many market leaders have such short distances.” #Europe #Broadband #Television #Telecommunication #Fiber #FiberNetwork #ANGACOM2024 https://lnkd.in/e_YkBKJs

Es ist nicht deine Schuld, dass die Welt ist wie sie ist, es wär nur deine Schuld wenn sie so bleibt(...) (Die Ärzte)
All started with an small personal campaign called Event 4.0 to analyze and improve the event supply with mobile communications... Since then, a lot of time has passed, the small action turned into a vision and the vision turned into many ideas. And one of these ideas became a prototype and a prototype finally evolved into a product. Many influencing factors shaped these ideas, such as the direct exchange with customers and colleagues. Inspiration gathered at the MWC, constant learning for understanding what the upcoming technologies can do and need. My insight: With all this, you must never lose sight of your goal/vision and an idea is nothing if the timing is not right and the right people don't know about it. Now I would like to take the opportunity to pay tribute to those who are behind the realization of the "celltower to go", who believed in it and pushed it forward. Without all of you, it would definitely not have been possible. First and foremost Andreas Frisch and Ute Zimmermann as the discoverers of the idea and networkers, the two who provided the necessary push within Telekom. Jürgen Krüler, who always has an open ear for new approaches and believed in this idea from the very beginning and the complete DRM Team representative Marcel Brack, Marcus Mazur, Adrian van der Hoeven. Thomas Panhans for the productization. Florian Zunftmeister, who managed the implementation and went the way of this idea with me. With him I also launched another project, KatHelferPro. Ralf Freywald and his team for the technical design and implementation. Andreas Spousta for the support and networking with Jan Thorwarth Jan T. and his team for believing in the vision and design with Peter and me the HF components. Bence Farkas and Sándor Gyulavári for the support and provision the test environment. Christian Lang and Karsten Knuettel for collaboration and support. Every idea has pioneers, without the people below I would have discarded the idea long ago (they always encouraged me and motivated me to continue). Without them, it would never have been realized. Oliver Chirst and Dennis Lehmacher (networkers, my motivator, sparring partner and mentor, helped me to better understand the technology) Jan Benzenberg (sparring partner and guide) Andreas Bergner, Patrick Plocher, Hasan Karacelik, Tom Poeggel (sparring partner and marked guide) Dominik Schüle (Former team leader of mine, from whom I was able to learn a lot ) Marcel Neumann (made it possible for me to carry out the Event 4.0 campaign and open my mind to understand customers need) Peter Schmidt my mentor and teacher for HF technology. And many more, with a greate network like this, you´ll never walk alone! I would like to express my deep gratitude to all of you! And the journey continues! After the idea is before the idea, my vision has not yet been completed. There is a lot to do! And last but not least THANK YOU Abdu Mudesir and Mathias Poeten´s leadership team for supporting us.
At the end of February, decision-makers from the global mobile radio industry - and far beyond - will meet at #MWCBarcelona. There will be around 2,400 booths. Thousands of exhibits and even more talks ... What fascinates me: What actually happens behind the scenes and in people's minds at a trade fair like this? What innovations come out of it? We have an example at #DeutscheTelekom. My colleague Stefan Keller, a mobile radio technician, had the idea of a small-format mobile 5G radio base station at the MWC in 2016. For the best cell phone connections at festivals, on mobile construction sites ... anywhere where a lot of mobile coverage is temporarily needed. At that time, #5G was still a completely new topic and Stefan asked experts at the booths of various exhibitors about it. Stefan then realized his idea of the "mobile radio mast to go", and the solution will be in the spotlight at the #DeutscheTelekom booth this year. For me, this story is a great example of how the #MWC inspires innovation. Colleagues can find more information about this in the interview with Stefan on our intranet: awbs://https://lnkd.in/eYYm7PEN #MWC2024 #MWC24
