You, as it is being used here, refers to the collective you or mass consciousness. Every single celebration that you experience only has the celebration of oneness in common. You will all come to celebrations with many different ideas, viewpoints, or reasons for the celebration, so in that sense, you experience only oneness. Progress is progress no matter the pace! Encouragement and support can make a world of difference, especially for those who may be progressing slowly but steadily. It's important to recognize and appreciate every step forward, no matter how small, as it shows dedication, determination, and a willingness to improve. Encouraging someone who is making progress, regardless of the speed, can boost their confidence, motivation, and ultimately lead to even greater achievements.

This is important for children and youth to learn as they move through K-12. We inhibit this by referring to universities as "higher education" suggesting all other forms of post-secondary take a back seat. To earn a journeyperson's red seal trade certification in Alberta, requires on the job training and four years of schooling. This is also a form of higher education, as is someone who works in the same industry for their entire adult career, taking courses and learning on the job. Any time we use theory in our daily lives it becomes practice, incorporating theory and practice. #teaching #vocational #postsecondary #handson #praxis #trades

Efforts Over Outcomes – A Lesson I Shared with My Kids I’ve always believed that efforts are more important than results. When my kids had their exams or important events, I would tell them, "Come home, and we will have a party regardless of the outcome!" It wasn’t about the marks or scores—it was about the dedication, the preparation, and the perseverance they put in. Today, as I see them succeeding, I feel immense pride—not just because of their achievements, but because they’ve embraced the value of giving their best effort, regardless of the result. Success is not always about the final score. It’s about the journey, the lessons learned, and the resilience built along the way.
