Last year, a broken foot turned my world upside down. Crutches and, for a while, a scooter became my new companions. This unexpected experience completely changed my perspective on inclusion and accessibility. We hear "inclusion" everywhere these days, but how often does it translate to real-life experiences? Think about restaurants with only booths, buildings without ramps, locations with stairs and no elevator, narrow doorways, or heavy doors. These are everyday obstacles that show the gap between what we say and what we do. Being temporarily disabled opened my eyes to the daily challenges faced by those with permanent disabilities. It became clear that talking about inclusion isn't enough. We need to actively design spaces and policies that are truly accessible to everyone. Looking back on this past year, I'm dedicated to advocating for real, tangible changes. Let's work together to make inclusion more than just a catchy phrase. It starts with listening, learning, and making practical adjustments to our environments. #Inclusion #Accessibility #Advocacy #Diversity #InclusionMatters
