This past summer, a passionate group of MetLife employees from the EMEA region turned an idea from a brainstorm session into reality. Hugo Maia, Catia Alves, and Laetitia Estrella led the creation of a summer shared library in Iberia, designed to promote learning, collaboration, and community among our employees. As avid book enthusiasts, they saw this initiative as a wonderful way to embrace summer—a time for recharging and focusing on wellness. MetLife is supporting communities in need through its tree-planting program, which aims to reduce carbon emissions in the atmosphere, enhance biodiversity and help reforest areas.
