Artists are a different breed. They have a unique ability to use creativity to express their passion when doing specific tasks. This formula can be applied to many tasks too. For some reason, no definition properly defines an artist. So, I made a definition on my own. #artist #creativity #passion #happiness #life #artistry https://lnkd.in/geWqXCQ7

Can you imagine a UFO Barbie face landing on Earth and throwing the biggest party ever? Indeed I can!. That was the brief for this client. I know it sounds a little bit crazy, but this is pure creativity. I love bringing the client's ideas to life with their vision and my ability to solve narrative and aesthetic problems with visuals. I Design an animated poster for the third edition of “Psycho party” The piece had to include: 1. Barbie's colour 2. A female character 3. A UFO That was my interpretation. ¡Enjoy! On Saturday night, I performed a dance trapeze routine at our studio showcase. Sometimes pieces are created, carefully, move by move, but this one kind of gathered together, gradually. Organically, like water droplets pulling together. Or mould creeping along. This piece started with a song — Apricots by Bicep. I heard the music at my dance class, and loved it, and danced to it, and had a short trapeze sequence that fit well. Then a few more moves and transitions joined it, and I added a little rolling around on the floor to the beginning. Finally, I enlisted the studio owner’s help to put the finishing touches on. Apricots was all about the music, and the feeling it gave me. Sometimes, a performance piece starts with an image. Like last time I won a pole competition, the idea popped into my head because I’d been binge-watching everything Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin ever made, and I had a full story in my head to create because of that. Everything hung around that story, and I chose the moves and costume and music to fit. Then I made it so funny people couldn’t breathe for laughing. And sometimes it starts with a vibe. Like the trapeze competition I won in 2019, when I was feeling anxious and listening to Radiohead’s My Iron Lung. That piece was weird and unsettling. Now I’m thinking about the Aerial Art competition this November. What will I create for that? What’s the story or theme? The music? I don’t know yet, but I will… Because ideas come from everywhere. My life. Other people’s lives. Other people’s art. I was thinking about how much I love socks when I wrote a short, silly essay about the history of socks. And about how bad pigeons are at building nests when I wrote a funny piece about bird real estate. On this dreary Monday morning (or maybe it’s sunny where you are), what in your immediate vicinity (including your brain) gives you an idea? Even if it’s a ridiculous idea? Write about it for five minutes. See what happens. Have fun! #trapeze #creativity #inspiration #writersblock

If you’ve been around for the rollercoaster ride that is my life, you know I’ve had three main squeezes: music, art, and making videos. And not just any casual fling, we’re talking a 40-year love affair that’s aged like fine wine... or that leftover pizza I found and still tasted epic. 🍕✨ 1. **Art**: My first love. I’ve been drawing and creating visual art since I could hold a crayon without eating it. My style? A mix between “modern renaissance” and “what was I thinking”. Still, my walls are plastered with my creations - a testament to my evolving (questionable) taste. 🖌️👨🎨 2. **Music**: Then came music, my soul food. From air-guitaring in my bedroom to pretending I’m the fifth member of a band that doesn’t know I exist. I’ve gone from mixtapes to playlists, but my dance moves are still inspired by people with Parkinson’s. And yes, I’m still convinced my shower concerts are Grammy-worthy. 🎤🚿 3. **Making Videos**: Putting both visuals and mood together. The magic of storytelling through a lens. What started with a shaky camcorder has evolved into... well, slightly less shaky productions. I’ve made everything from dramatic backyard dramas to epic travel diaries that only my mom watches. Spielberg, if you’re out there, I’m just a DM away! 📹🌟 Some call it commitment; I call it obsession. And guess what? I wouldn’t change a thing. These passions are part of me. And if loving this hard is wrong, I don’t wanna be right. Here’s to many more decades of making noise, making a mess, and making memories. Because at the end of the day, isn’t that what life’s all about? #PassionatelyObsessed #LifeInColor #CreativityUnleashed #liveyourpassions #HereToStay

In graphic design, rhythm isn’t just about movement; it’s about creating a visual flow that guides the viewer’s eye. Just like music, rhythm in design can evoke emotions and enhance communication. ✨ Key Elements of Rhythm in Design: Repetition: Use consistent elements to create harmony. Spacing: Balance positive and negative space to create a visual beat. Variation: Mix patterns and shapes to keep the design engaging. By mastering rhythm, we can craft designs that not only capture attention but also tell a compelling story. Let’s keep the creativity flowing! #GraphicDesign #DesignPrinciples #VisualRhythm #Creativity

As artists, we are constantly viewing the world around us through the lens of art. Everything either peaks are interests or makes us question how it could visually present differently. Inspiration comes from that — the world around us. For us at The Lev Co, inspiration more specifically comes from music, books, film, food and good conversations. And sometimes Pinterest. Our camera rolls serve as testimonies for feeling inspired by what we see and experience. The next time you come across something that strikes a chord with you, run with the feeling. You never know what you might create! _____ #branding #socialmedia #graphicdesign #digitalmarketing #smallbusiness #specialtycoffee #coffeebranding #designforcoffee

Are You a Collector or a Hoarder? We all gather things, but what separates artists from the rest? Discernment. Hoarders accumulate indiscriminately, while artists curate by choice from experiences, stories, and objects that spark a fire within. "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with." This applies to our creativity as well. Surround yourself with thought-provoking ideas, captivating stories, and vibrant expressions. They become the building blocks for your own unique voice. Remember, "garbage in, garbage out" applies beyond chores. Fill your mind's treasure chest with quality inputs. Be an alchemist of inspiration: • Collect experiences. • Devour books. • Explore museums. • Embrace random conversations, fleeting glimpses, and the world around you. True inspiration is a dance, not theft. Borrow from the masters, let their voices ignite yours, but filter it through your own lens. Your unique perspective is your magic ingredient. Collect, create, refine. Let your wellspring of inspiration overflow, and from this abundance, let your masterpiece emerge. #creativity #inspiration #artistlife
