The PRIDE Endowment serves as a sustainable source of funding to advance the mission of NIPA, which is to create a more inclusive North Idaho through networking, educating, and advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. By contributing to the PRIDE Endowment, donors can ensure ongoing support for vital programs and initiatives that uplift and empower LGBTQIA+ individuals in the region, leaving a lasting gift. The North Idaho Pride Alliance invites individuals, businesses, and organizations to join in supporting the PRIDE Endowment at the Innovia Foundation, though we ask that individuals donating smaller or frequent gifts continue to do so via Zeffy, our donation platform – for a more immediate impact. By donating to the endowment, supporters can contribute to the long-term sustainability of programs that promote equality, acceptance, and advocacy for the LGBTQIA+ community. Today is National Coming Out Day! October 11, 2023, is the 35th Anniversary of National Coming Out Day, a day meant to celebrate LGBTQ+ people living their lives openly, support those working to come out of the closet, and always center safety as LGBTQ+ folks make those decisions and plans. It is also an opportunity to reflect on what it means to be openly LGBTQ+ and how our understanding and expectations of coming out have changed over the years. Whether you're out, in the process, or not ready yet, remember you are loved by the LGBTQIA+ community. We'll always be there for you!
