Yesterday I had the opportunity to submit pieces of work for a potential freelance position for a ‘dream client.’ As a freelance marketer, I’ve worked with a variety of different clients in a variety of different industries. I don’t consider any experiences to be bad ones, but rather stepping stones to distinguish the type of clients I’d like to support. This one in particular ticks all the boxes: ✅they know and understand that marketing is a necessity, not a nice-to-have ✅their approach is collaborative - so many times we are the ones dragging the content and information out of our clients. Marketing is a two-way street ✅they have a strategy locked and loaded ✅they know what they want and have a clear vision of where they are going ✅internal processes and systems that literally makes my soul sing 🎶 I could go on.. What was really a great reminder is that great companies do exist. As a freelancer we can find the right support and environments to thrive in.
