#singleuseplastics You all might be familiar with the claimed to be aluminium pouch shown in this video. Pouch which is backbone of #fooddelivery Looks like aluminum to mask the reality that its actually #plastic. Imagine the amount of #microplastics we are gifting to nature through these pouches daily. #impact #climateaction #greeneconomy #sustainablepackaging #plasticfree #onlinedelivery

This is horrible. Didn't know that. Always thought it's aluminium inside too but they are giving us food in plastic which can be easily melted with hot food inside. It's a fraud by restaurants and swiggy/Zomato. Zomato ang swiggy has this check box at order confirmation page to ask customers for not opting for cutlery which I always selected. Now I will never opt it

Are you seeing less plastic waste now that paper has replaced it everywhere? Us neither. So we’re going to show you how to actually do it.

Why would you think this bag contributes to microplastics? Is it beaten by wind and waves on a regular basis? It’ll sit in a landfill most likely and have no exposure to mechanical action creating microplastics. It’s not a tire or footwear. Plastic is the better option for this bag anyways.

Evopak has developed a ground breaking solution to these pouches with materials that have the properties of plastic but without the plastic, #gamechanger

It's actually horrific since after COVID the majority of the restaurants in our city are refusing to give in containers. Since they get better profits due to less food in these aluminium pouches and they pre pack it and keep it ready to avoid rush. Swiggy, Zomato and other food delivery platforms should actually do something about these. It's worse than the plastic at any given point of time. Hope people come to dine in rather than ordering.
