Reinforcing the Economic Landscape of #Gujarat! The Gujarat Rajya Institution for Transformation (GRIT) collaborated with NITI Aayog to organize a workshop, "Growth Hubs: Preparing Economic Plans for Gujarat’s Economic Regions" in Gandhinagar today. The workshop aims to spearhead the #development of other economic regions of Gujarat by replicating the Economic Plan of the Surat Economic Region (SER). The workshop highlighted the baselining exercise for district officials. In addition, Ms. Anna Roy, (Programme Director, Managing Urbanisation), NITI Aayog shared valuable insights on the G-hub initiative framework. "Guajrat Soars to New Heights: Tops FDI Increase Chart with $2.6 Billion Jump in FY 2023-24!" Gujarat has emerged as the leader in the annual increase in FDI inflow for FY 2023-24, showcasing a remarkable $2.6 billion surge. In FY 2023-24, Gujarat saw a substantial 55% rise in FDI inflow compared to the previous fiscal year, reaching an impressive $7.3 billion from the $4.7 billion received in FY 2022-23. This surge propelled Gujarat past Karnataka and Delhi to secure the second position in the country in terms of FDI inflow. Gujarat has demonstrated consistent growth in attracting FDI over three consecutive financial years, attracting investments of $2.7 billion in FY 2022, $4.7 billion in FY 2023, and $7.3 billion in FY 2024.

From Uttarakhand to Bihar, these 12 smart cities will be designed with modern & eco-friendly infrastructure. They will be built with the latest technology to make work and life easier, offering 'plug-n-play' facilities and 'walk-to-work' options. Initiated under National Industrial Corridor Development Programme, this program aims: - $2 trillion in exports by 2030 - 4 million direct and indirect jobs - connect 10 states and 6 major corridors. They also focus on being green and sustainable, using advanced technology to protect the environment.
