The #ViksitBharatSankalpYatra, a monumental initiative by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, has left an indelible mark on India, engaging a staggering 15 crore participants in just two months. This people's movement signifies a unified commitment towards a thriving and inclusive nation. Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Yatra embodies "Jan Bhagidari," fostering public participation by deploying IEC vans to disseminate knowledge about government schemes, sustainable farming, healthcare, sanitation, and financial independence.
The momentum surged notably in states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana, propelling participation from 2.06 crore to a remarkable 15 crore by January 17, 2024. Health camps have screened over 4 crore people, with more than 2 crore Ayushman Bharat health cards issued for accessible healthcare. The Yatra's tangible impact is evident as Gram Panchayats achieve 100% saturation for Ayushman Cards, 'Har Ghar Jal' brings clean water to 79,000 Panchayats, and digitization secures land records in 1.38 Lakh Panchayats.
Beyond statistics, the Yatra nurtures a shared dream of an India where progress and prosperity touch every doorstep, translating development into empowered lives. Each Gram Panchayat covered and every pledge taken propels India closer to realizing this collective aspiration.
