I love what I do and it is not always easy! Dealing with higher workloads and lower staffing is a national key improvement factor that if not a focus or spark for process changes will continue to reap the same if not worse measurables. Educating is empowering; municipalities must educate to empower their communities in order to achieve and maintain continuous compliance. Meeting property owners who tell me I thought I could do what I am doing (the code violation) because this is my property is a key that proper education is needed and why I have been called to educate - even outside of the classroom- which gives the same feelings as when I was in the classroom! Knowledge is power; however applied knowledge is impactful change!
