From engineering to architecture to computing and business, our talented NJIT students gathered to explore internships, co-ops, and full-time positions. We’re excited to continue helping students build their professional futures, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the employers who joined us to make this event such a success! We are thrilled to partner with our Office of Student Involvement & Leadership on this new initiative, with the support of our Corporate Sponsor Bechtel Corporation. NJIT Students, make sure you take advantage of free lightly used professional attire now available through the Career Closet.
NJIT has recently opened a Career Closet to support students with free dress clothes, shoes, and accessories for interviews, internships, and job placements. It also provides seasonal and casual clothing for campus residents and commuters. The Career Closet is part of the Highlander HOUSE initiative, which includes a revamped Food Pantry. The pantry now serves over 300 students a month—three times the previous number—and offers a range of items from canned and boxed foods to fresh produce and toiletries. #NJITmakes https://lnkd.in/ePDAV-9g]

This week's Interns & Co-ops of NJIT student spotlight, Makayla Clarke, who interned at Whirlpool Corporation, shares “the most rewarding part of my internship experience can be summarized in one word: impact. Throughout my time in the internship program, I had the privilege of making a significant and tangible impact within the organization. This aspect of the internship was profoundly fulfilling and enriching on multiple levels. First and foremost, seeing the direct and measurable results of my work was incredibly rewarding. Whether it was a project that improved operational efficiency, a recommendation that led to cost savings, or a solution that enhanced customer satisfaction, I could witness the concrete outcomes of my efforts. This not only validated my skills and knowledge but also highlighted the practical relevance of the work I was doing.” #NJIT #NJITCDS
