This year, Njord Offshore has rallied a formidable team to confront the monumental Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge (24 mile hike, 3 peaks, 12 hours, non stop) on May 17, 2024, with a noble mission: to once again raise funds for The Seafarers' Charity. In an industry where the unwavering commitment of seafarers form the bedrock of our operations, The Seafarers Charity provide essential health and welfare services to support the mental and physical well-being of seafarers worldwide whilst both at sea and on land. Join us in championing this cause and any donations are gratefully received in support of this important charity. https://lnkd.in/eraci57a

We are thrilled to share that we successfully completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, tackling 24 miles and 3 peaks in under 12 hours which is no small feat, but your generous support and encouragement spurred us on. It was an early start on Friday morning with overcast weather conditions for the first two peaks (Ingleborough, 736m & Whernside, 723m) with very little visibility at the summits. The weather then lifted during the 12-mile trek to the final peak where the team had to dig deep to summit Pen-y-Ghent, 694m at the end of a long day under clear skies. The breathtaking views of the beautiful Yorkshire countryside made the bad knees and painful blisters all worthwhile! Thank you to all our charterers, suppliers, colleagues and friends who supported us and contributed to The Seafarers’ Charity.
