Men don't get mammograms. Yes, breast cancer in men is rare, occurring in less than 1%. But that doesn't make awareness any less important. In fact, if they find a lump, men are likely to put off seeing a doctor. And they might even be told to simply "keep an eye on it". This is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There is no exclusion here. Men need to be part of these conversations and events not only in the context of support providers or effected loved-ones, but for their own health as well. Please check out the link in my comment below to learn about early detection for men. #breastcancerawarenessmonth #menshealth #menhavebreaststoo

Today, on #MetastaticBreastCancerDay, we honor the strength and resilience of those living with metastatic breast cancer. While Stage IV breast cancer has spread to other parts of the body, early detection can play a crucial role in preventing progression and improving outcomes. With advancements in AI-powered detection, like iCAD’s ProFound AI, we aim to catch breast cancer earlier, when treatment is most effective. Let’s continue to support those affected, raise awareness about the importance of early detection, and advocate for more research to find better treatments—and, one day, a cure. Together, we can make a difference. https://bit.ly/4duGBjE #LightUpMBC #MBC #busylivingwithmets #MetastaticBreastCancer #EarlyDetection #BreastCancerAwareness #ProFoundAI #BreastHealth

Breast cancer remains a significant burden in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), where over 50% of cases are diagnosed at an advanced stage, compared to less than 20% in high-income countries (HICs). Late-stage diagnosis greatly reduces treatment effectiveness and survival outcomes. It is crucial that we raise awareness and advocate for improved early detection of breast cancer. By working together, we can address these disparities and have a meaningful impact on the outcomes of this disease. #PinkOctober 💕 #FightCancer #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth

Hey Friend!!! this a quick reminder to check your breast☺️☺️, As we come to the end of #october, which is the #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth. Breast Cancer is the Mose frequent amongst women. 1 in 10 women will be affected by this Cancer. The good news is, Cancer detected at an early stage can be cured💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾☺️☺️☺️. Now how do we detect Breast Cancer? - It is advised that young ladies should do a #BreastSelfExamination after #menstruation. The advantage of this is, once you get used to knowing how your breast feels and look, it will be easy to know when something strange is felt i.e something you haven't seen or felt while doing your #BSE. - It is important that women from age of 40 should go for #Mammography i.e #Breast #Screening every two years. Don't neglect speaking to your healthcare Provider if you are concerned or worried about your breast. #BreastCancercanbecured!!! #Earlydetectionsaveslivesandmoneytoo☺️ #Cancerisnotadeathsentence!!! #RadiographersAgainstCancer #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #PinkOctober
