During 2024, we completed the nearshore cable burial for TenneT's BorWin5 grid connection in the German part of the North Sea with a new tool. Our skilled crew successfully trenched the cable to a depth of 3 meters using a trenching setup developed in-house. With a raised excavator, we managed the challenging tides in the intertidal area and the seabed mobility at the project site. Operations were performed between -3.5 m LAT and 2 m LAT in good collaboration with all parties involved. #powercables #offshore #BorWin5

Nice water jetting tool for beach landings

But if high-voltage cables between Denmark and Sweden are to be hidden from XI-ping's shadow fleet 4m below the seabed, then the flushing method cannot be used, but an actual robotic excavator that can work at extreme depths and pressure must be developed. I am betting my stock investments on that development.. If NKT develops a "corridor" for the transport of DC, cooled to <= -200°C together with Hydrogen and other PTX energies, then I will bet all my capital on NKT.
