New Mexico Impact Investing Collaborative (NMIIC)’s Post

🚀 Have you heard about LIFT NM? 🌟 . Back in 2021, the New Mexico Impact Investing Collaborative and Groundworks New Mexico partnered with RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) RBC to launch the LIFT NM (Local Impact Fixed Income Targeted Investment New Mexico) Initiative. This initiative has catalyzed a wave of impact investment dollars in our region. . 🤝 The Vision: LIFT NM offers a unique platform that empowers foundations, nonprofits, and private and public investors with both small and large endowments. It's an opportunity for all these stakeholders to engage in geographically targeted, impact-driven investments. These investments provide a market rate return and daily liquidity through an institutional mutual fund investing in publicly traded securities. . 🏡 Impact Areas: The LIFT NM Initiative has its sights set on making a difference in New Mexico communities. The investments it supports can fuel homeownership, job creation, small business growth, access to affordable rental housing, healthcare access, and other essential resources crucial for the development of New Mexico. . 🤝 Collective Action: What makes LIFT NM truly transformative is its capacity to bring together a diverse group of asset owners from across the state. Together, they can collectively measure the social impact of their combined investment. This collective action is a powerful way to drive change. . 🏦 Empowering Community Lending Institutions: LIFT NM also creates a robust secondary market for community lending institutions. This frees their balance sheets, allowing them to facilitate more deals and direct more capital toward lifting our communities. . Discover more about the LIFT NM Initiative by reading the announcement or visiting RBC's page dedicated to this innovative endeavor. It's a game-changer for impact investing in New Mexico! . . #LIFTNM #ImpactInvesting #CommunityDevelopment #CollectiveAction #SocialImpact #NewMexicoImpact
