Expect Miracles Foundation (EMF) rallies the financial services industry and beyond to invest in life-saving cancer research while advancing the financial and emotional health of people impacted by cancer. Unlike many nonprofits, Expect Miracles Foundation's work in the cancer community is two-fold: an investment in life-saving research, and an investment in financial support for those facing financial burden of cancer. The combination provides hope at every stage of the journey. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, 100% of all participant-raised dollars support EMF's portfolio of funds: Discovery Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Innovation Fund at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center SAMFund which provides financial assistance to young adult cancer survivors

Kesem is an exceptional resource for adults with cancer who have children. How do you tell your kids that you have cancer? What resources are available for kids impacted by a parent’s cancer diagnosis? This organization can answer those questions and more. #kesem #kidsmentalhealth #childrenimpactedbycancermonth
January is Children Impacted By A Parent's Cancer Month 💚 More than 5 million children across the United States - that's 1 in every 15 - are impacted by a parent's cancer, and we are proud to sponsor this special month of recognition to drive greater awareness and understanding of their unique needs. I have been really delayed in starting my fundraising this year for Cycle for Survival. College decisions, huge work project, life…"I don't have time". It's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life and say "I don't have time" to do the things we care about. But for the past decade, I've made time to ride in Cycle for Survival - this year marks my 10th year. I ride to support Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's research and to help "buy time" for our loved ones battling cancer. That's what MSK did for me and does for many, many others. Cycle for Survival not only provides crucial research funding but also ensures that donations quickly make it into the labs of MSK doctors and scientists. Every dollar counts, and through today only, every contribution will be matched, doubling your impact. Contribute a small amount today and help us buy more time for those fighting cancer. https://lnkd.in/eR2dMR6F

As many of you are aware, I’ve been involved with Cycle for Survival, the official rare cancer fundraising program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), for a number of years. Cycle for Survival is a team stationary-cycling event in which 100% of the money raised goes to rare cancer research at MSK - with over $340 million raised to date. As a team, riders participate relay-style on stationary bikes over the course of the four-hour event. The atmosphere is energizing, inspiring, and a lot of fun. There is no fee to participate, and no previous cycling experience is necessary. I have been participating for 14 years and it’s one of my favorite annual events. While my participation with TeamRobb has been on the individual level, Cycle for Survival has strongly established itself as a leader in employee engagement for companies across the nation. Last season, more than 400 companies participated. Here is a quick video on the corporate experience: https://lnkd.in/e4hj4nXh. Of note, there are rides taking place in New York City in February and March, along with 12 other locations across the U.S., and virtually. You can view the full event schedule here: https://lnkd.in/eJpJhWpX. These events offer a great way to unite employees in one office, or offices nationwide. Would your organization consider creating a team for your employees to participate? If so, I will happily connect you with the Cycle for Survival team. It’s the perfect time to get going, too. If you register your team next week (between January 8-12), you’ll receive a $500 boost to kickstart your fundraising, simply by signing up to join the movement to beat rare cancers. Let me know. Thanks for the consideration!
