Happy International Women's Day! Today, and every other, is a great opportunity to raise awareness of creating equitable and inclusive environments where the women in our lives can enter and thrive in the workforce without the burden of discrimination. In my day to day, I am fortunate to speak and work with many fantastic women who work tirelessly in creating supportive, fair and empowering work environments, but there is still more to do. Whilst trends over several decades have shown the gender pay gap to be declining, this has somewhat stalled in the last few years, so it is increasingly important to keep driving for better opportunities and equality. The best leaders I work with, both female and male, are all about creating environments to get the best of people. High performance at work is about removing those barriers in the workplace and making sure that people feel supported, engaged, valued and confident and I work with some supremely talented women who embody this and work really hard to create this within their own teams. So, as we highlight this today, let's keep the focus on creating a fairer, brighter and more equal future for all women. #inspireinclusion #internationalwomensday2024 #equality #thankyou
