Thank you, all, for your astounding interest! A) cleaning up PII found in DewDrop.txt So that likely I just publish it here. Policy: always ship working code, always improve. Simplifying is best improvement! So I have to pull admin out to separate file & combine them on the command line. Have 5-8 folks running DewDrop, more in wings, awaiting funding plan. Sponsorships. B) Split up PDF presentations & publish here. In way that the recap best of FOSDEM finale thing I did (kudo to all who can tell me it’s name) can be constructed on the fly from existing materials. Used to do our own share hard linked file trees and break link on edits at NeXT. This is prelude to showing equivalence to compacting “treeball” of ART data/code. Isomorphism is huge concept. TBD) Publish the Solution Space preview, and the organic expansion model of App Clients, and the two main coding tracks: kernel-ART (in C code ~30K to learn by doing, learn patterns, then recode smaller tighter better) kinda bit-twiddling hardcore (locked quadword compare-exchange instruction needed binary implantation cause assembler had bug.) Apps track. Pizza half gone. I’m new to open source. GnuNotUnixTM license fees lost long ago; C => ART-C might free us all… 🙏🏼

👾 I have completed my seventh week training and completed my seventh week project in the Code16 Game academy program organized by Üretken Akademi. Thank you to Enes Polat for his training videos. ⚔ This week I learned about character movement and character animations. I designed a mini dungeon game based on the information I learned. I added light attack, heavy attack and block animations to the game character. 🎮 Controls: W -> Forward S -> Back A -> Left D -> Right R -> Block, Guard Left shift -> Run Mouse left click -> Light attack Mouse right click -> Heavy attack 🔗 You can access the source files of the project from the drive link below: https://lnkd.in/d-y8uhYB

My reply? Here’s what else to consider… Step 1 - Do they make your company more than they cost? Start here. If yes, continue to step two. Step 2 - Do they create leverage for you, your team, your time? Are they a positive contribution to the fiber of your company? If yes, continue to step three. Step 3 - Do they create quantifiable multiples of return (money, revenue, GMV, whatever your thing is) BEYOND what it costs to have them? And lastly… Step 4 - Do those quantifiable and qualifiable “unit economics” scale over time and as your team/company grows (whatever that means to you). Step 5 - Print money forever. DISCLAIMER: If you did not pass Step 1, you do not have the right person. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk. What would you add or take away from this list?

MPhil ELM LUMS ‘25 | Mixed Method Research | School Effectiveness | Faculty Training and Development
David Fairbairn-Day thank you for this insightful session. I truly enjoyed listening to your perspectives as it gave me the chance to revisit what Jessica Albrent, EdD taught us during one of our core courses named School Effectiveness and Development. There's a burning question that why teachers are afraid of implementing tech into their classrooms. My answer to them is why you are not providing them enough agency, so they can make contextualized, data driven decisions. The decisions that are not only customised to their locality, but also address those students' needs. Why do we not get to listen to our teachers voices? We need to understand that they are not afraid of implementing technology rather bound by classroom press and power dynamics. Give them agency, sufficient time, confidence, a little ease and see how they bring the change we so want to see. It was interesting when David mentioned a book "EdTech to Pedtech" by Dr Fiona Aubrey-Smith and Peter Twining while sharing how we as policymakers, researchers and leaders need to put pedagogy at centre because effective learning is our ultimate goal. We should not use technology as an excuse to label our teachers good or bad since its only task is to assist our teachers, not to label them.
