We had so much fun surprising Girl Scout Troop 5254 with a check for 100 boxes of Girl Scout cookies! These girls spend their weekends selling cookies around town, all while developing valuable entrepreneurship and money management skills. There’s no doubt these girls will be future leaders! Special thanks to the Girl Scouts of Central California South for helping arrange the surprise! 💚 #girlscouts #noblecreditunion #girlscoutcookies

On this Juneteenth, a day commemorating the emancipation of African Americans, we reflect on the crucial role of entrepreneurship in the journey toward freedom. At TIME Systems, we honor the resilience and ingenuity of those who turned business ventures into pathways for liberation. During the era of enslavement, many African Americans used entrepreneurship as a route to freedom. Individuals often started businesses or engaged in trades, earning and saving money to purchase their freedom or support their families' liberation. This entrepreneurial spirit has historically driven change and empowerment. At TIME Systems, we understand the power of entrepreneurship firsthand. Our owners, Lonnie and Rachel Bellamy, come from generations of entrepreneurs—from hog farming and stereo enterprises to government contracting and cybersecurity. We are dedicated to supporting and empowering entrepreneurs as they strive for success and freedom. Join us in commemorating Juneteenth and celebrating the powerful history of entrepreneurship as a force for change. Happy Juneteenth! #Juneteenth #FreedomDay

Noble Insight, Inc Our ancestors used to pass down knowledge and wisdom over fire pits, in huts, while working crops, hidden in basements meeting by lantern. The young listened intensely seemingly understanding the importance of knowing all of it until their time to share. At my firm Noble Insight, I have a vision that we can use the same brilliance of wisdom sharing to build stronger communities, individuals, families, businesses, legacies. Think of a new version of Black Wall Street where vastly experienced professionals (all entrepreneurs) with very successful businesses cut their rates to assist others who need advice and coaching to reach their next level. It is coming ……https://lnkd.in/e8HPK7Gt

Monkey see, Monkey do! If I smoked and told my child not to smoke, high chances he or she will smoke. If I continued doing what most people do, high chances my child will also repeat the same. If I do not create anything, high chances my child will not have the affinity to create either. Now one can rightly debate that what about all the first generation entrepreneurs, multi millionaires. Well they are 3% of the population. Exceptions can’t be examples. But we can definitely look at the exceptions, get inspired and start following their path today. And maybe one day our children do the same. If we display courage, they might too. If we display discipline, they might too. If we focus on our DREAMS, they might too. So if we want our children to be best versions of themselves, we have to the best version of ourself. We lead by example. What are your views on the same?

Some entrepreneurial stories just grab you right from the start. What started as a creative outlet in rural Missouri has grown into an internationally renowned quilting community called Missouri Star Quilt Company. As Jenny celebrates 15 years in business in 2024, her story shares some wise lessons: 1. Follow your heart – Jenny's business came from genuinely loving quilting and nurturing a community around it. This authenticity keeps customers coming back. 2. Embrace limitations – Despite financial hardship early on, Jenny leveraged constraints to drive creativity. Limits can bring opportunities. 3. Persist through challenges – From a son's cancer to near bankruptcy, Jenny has confronted obstacles without losing passion. Entrepreneurs need that grit. 4. Remember your roots – Jenny kept operating from small-town Missouri. She maintains the personal touch that defined the early days. Jenny built a quilting empire by staying grounded in her values. As we celebrate her anniversary, may her journey inspire yours. Here's to 15 more years of Missouri Star's success!
