A 140 kg, Mineralized Boulder Found near Hearst, Ontario. In 2021, Noble launched an exploration program to in an effort to identify the source of the boulder. Basal till samples collected from two fences of hand auger holes, located about 100 m and 1 km north of the boulder, produced 35 gold grains. These gold grains define a southeast-northwest trending dispersion train that indicate they were transported southeast by a glacial transport from a source area located to the northwest. The dispersion train begins near a northeast trending magnetic anomaly. The gold grains are predominantly reshaped but also include modified and pristine , supporting evidence of a local source. The approximate location of the mineralized, Cousineau Boulder appears to coincide with a slight bullseye high at the southeast end of one of the northwest striking cross dike like features. The dashed line is suggested at being a possible cross fault system. 🔸TSX.V: NOB | FWB: NB7 l OTCQB: NLPXF🔸 #Hearst #Ontario #Mining #Exploration #Investing Learn more about the boulder project: https://lnkd.in/gdh2cUCt

Research led by Curtin University has revealed that Earth’s largest iron ore deposits – in the Hamersley Province of Western Australia – are about one billion years younger than previously believed, a discovery which could greatly boost the search for more of the resource. Using a new geochronology technique to accurately measure the age of iron oxide minerals, researchers found the Hamersley deposits formed between 1.4 and 1.1 billion years ago, rather than 2.2 billion years ago as previously estimated. Lead author said the findings showed iron deposits formed during a period of major geological activity when ancient supercontinents were breaking apart and new ones were forming. Unlocking Hidden Treasure: High-Grade Zinc-Lead Ore Did you know that old mine data can reveal modern-day riches? Slave Lake Zinc (CSE: SLZ) historical ore deposit containing approximately 70,000 tons of high-grade zinc and lead. Extensive exploration between 1950 and 1952, including drilling, bulk sampling, and underground workings, defined this zone over 100 meters in length and depth. We believe we have extended this mineralization to over 1.2km with the modern geophysics that we have done over this vein. A concentrated 26.3-ton bulk sample from this deposit boasts impressive grades: 55% lead, 13.5% zinc, and 2.7 ounces of silver per ton. With today's commodity prices around $1.10/lb for lead, $1.15/lb for zinc, and $24/oz for silver, the value of this sample is extremely promising. We're excited about the potential of this discovery and are diligently exploring its full extent. #mining #exploration #geology #commodities #naturalresources #investing #history #USD $SLZ Want to know more? 🔍 Searching for Polymetallic Copper in Northern Territory Plutonic Limited recently reported significant polymetallic secondary #copper at their McLovin prospect in the #NorthernTerritory. This prompted me to investigate whether historic mining exploration reports from the 90s had any evidence of polymetallic copper. Here's what we need to do this: 👉 Know-How of What to Look For 👉A Quick Way to Read Through and Visualize Information within Millions of Geological Survey of the Northern Territory of Australia's #STRIKE Reports 1️⃣ Know-How of What to Look For: Lead (Pb), Zinc (Zn), and Silver (Ag): These metals don't directly guarantee the presence of copper (Cu). However, their occurrence can be strong indicators that copper may be found nearby because: ✅ Polymetallic Deposits: Copper deposits are often polymetallic, containing multiple metals alongside copper. Lead, zinc, and silver are common companions, so finding them increases the likelihood of copper being present. ✅Geological Formation Processes: These metals share similar geological formation processes, often precipitating from mineral-rich hydrothermal fluids. Conditions favoring one metal might also favor copper. ✅Mineral Associations: Certain minerals are commonly associated with copper deposits. For example, sphalerite (ZnS) can contain trace amounts of copper, and galena (PbS) can occur alongside copper sulfide minerals. 2️⃣ Search and Visualize Millions of NT’s #STRIKE Reports: Using RadiXplore’s #GeoAI, we can digest all of #STRIKE’s relinquishment reports. RadiXplore, with its grad-level geo knowledge combined with an experienced geologist's know-how, makes for a powerful prospector. While diligently working to acquire Bell Mountain, a fully permitted #gold and #silver project in #Nevada, we want to spotlight our larger Pine Grove gold project. Though not fully permitted yet, Pine Grove is in the final stages of permitting and we believe it holds untapped potential that we are eager to uncover soon. The Pine Grove district is mainly made up of a type of rock called Jurassic granodiorite, which has some interesting variations and alterations. The granodiorite rocks have intrusions (dikes and sills) of different compositions like andesite, dacite, and rhyolite. These are believed to be the sources of gold mineralization in the area. Native gold is found in small quartz veinlets, stockworks, and disseminations within the granodiorite. Where unoxidized, these veinlets contain minerals like pyrite, chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite, and native gold, along with elevated copper levels. The gold found here is typical of the "Shear Zone" subtype of Plutonic-Related Gold Quartz Veins and Veinlets. Pine Grove's PEA (2011, updated 2015) reports that significant exploration potential exists beyond current resources and recommends that infill and offset drilling be performed around the Wilson deposit, deep drilling in the Wheeler deposit, and expansion exploration drilling in known outlying anomalous intercepts. As funding becomes available, additional exploration drilling programs will be developed to potentially increase the size of the resource base. These programs will test numerous prospective areas of the Pine Grove property. An updated NI 43-101 technical report and an updated Pre-Feasibility report is also planned.
