$EM2 - Eagle Mountain Mining Ltd (ASX:EM2) is pleased to confirm that the Renounceable Entitlement Offer pursuant to the prospectus lodged with ASIC and ASX on 29 January 2024 closed on 15 March 2024. The total amount raised under the Entitlement Offer was $4,180,095 which will enable the Company to: - Undertake field exploration activities at both the Oracle Ridge and Silver Mountain Projects. The field exploration activities will predominantly focus on Silver Mountain following the recent discovery of significant uranium, thorium and rare earths. Refer ASX announcements 29 February 2024 and 13 March 2024. - Undertake a scoping study to assess the technical and financial development for Oracle Ridge. The study will consider a simplified processing flowsheet that avoids smelting and refining beyond the mine gate. - Assess the use of an ambient noise tomography (geophysical) survey at both Silver Mountain and Oracle Ridge projects. Coverage stock Rimfire Pacific Mining Limited (ASX: RIM) (initiated @ 2.3c in 2016) has provided an important update with respect to exploration activity at the Bald Hill Prospect, located within its Broken Hill Project in NSW. RIM is currently undertaking a 6-hole/1,000-metre diamond drill program at Bald Hill, designed to test the significance of a very strong magnetic anomaly, which is interpreted to be a potential extension to previously drilled high-grade cobalt (Co) and copper (Cu) mineralisation. The Bald Hill magnetic anomaly trends NNE, dips to the southeast, and has a near-surface extent of 450 x 400 metres, extending to a vertical depth of approximately 300 metres below surface. 3D modelling suggests that the anomaly plunges to the southeast, with RIM’s 2023 diamond holes just “clipping” the top of the anomaly. Encouragingly, the first two holes in the program have successfully intersected multiple broad zones (downhole widths) of sulphide mineralisation, 100 – 200m away from previous high-grade cobalt drill intercepts (assays awaited). Very happy with the first batch of results from our maiden drilling campaign at Astute Metals NL Red Mountain Lithium Project in Nevada, USA. The discovery hole intersected 59.4m @ 1,300ppm Li, or 0.69% LCE. The second and third holes, drilled from the same pad, and 4.6km from the discovery hole, both intersected further lithium mineralisation. Lithium clays are shallow-dipping, strike extensive and have low grade variance. This equates to quick value-creation and for minimal expenditure. We have another 8 holes yet to be returned from the lab, and surface Geochem indicates extensions beyond this drilling to the north and south, as well as west of the main north-south line of holes. This is early days, but we see genuine potential here to characterise a deposit that ranks amongst the top 3 or 4 in Nevada. If achieved, this would place Astute amongst the likes of Lithium Americas (market cap ~ $915m AUD), ASX-listed Ioneer (~ $340m) and American Lithium (~ $190m). Tempest Minerals Ltd (ASX:TEM) is preparing to set the drills turning on an exploration program at the Remorse #Copper Target within its Yalgoo Project in Western Australia. Preliminary approval is in for drilling at the central area of the 4-kilometre-long base metal and geophysical target. TEM’s ground-truthing work has prompted it to expand the program design to around 5,000 metres of reverse circulation (RC) drilling with approvals for this in the final stages and work should start in June or July. The Yalgoo Project spans more than 1,000 square kilometres of highly prospective tenements for base and precious metals, and TEM’s recent exploration efforts have put the company on the scent of new mineralisation. TEM has prioritised the Remorse and Sanity targets, with the Remorse site previously revealing significant copper and #zinc anomalies and an overlapping geophysical anomaly. Northstar Gold Corp. (CSE:NSG) has received notification from the Ontario Ministry of Mines that the company is eligible to receive a critical minerals exploration grant of up to C$80,532.50 from the Ontario Junior Exploration Program (OJEP). Grant proceeds cover up to 50% of Northstar's eligible expenditures at the 1,151-hectare Rosegrove property, situated 11 kilometres south of the town of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. The Rosegrove property is highly prospective for shear and alkaline intrusion-related copper-gold mineralization. Northstar is currently awaiting eligible exploration results from recently completed LiDAR and MMI (Mobile Metal Ion) soil surveys and bedrock prospecting at Rosegrove. AuKing Mining Limited (ASX:AKN) has wasted no time at the Myoff Creek #Niobium and #RareEarthElement (REE) Project in Canada, plotting a comprehensive suite of exploration activities to pursue throughout the rest of the year. AKN plans to fly an airborne geophysical survey over a 6-kilometre by 1.5-kilometre carbonatite zone, which previously produced results of up to 0.93% niobium and 2.06% total rare earth oxides. QMines Limited (ASX:QML) has struck #gold at the Cawarral and Mt Wheeler Goldfields within the Mt Chalmers Copper and Gold Project in Queensland, with bonanza results of 256 g/t gold in rock chips and 3 metres at 154 g/t from a single drill hole. Other bonanza-grade rock chip samples included 157 g/t, 89.4 g/t, 80.95 g/t and 156 g/t gold. The very high-grade results were revealed in a review of historical data for the Mt Chalmers Project, combining exploration work undertaken by Geopeko, Newmont Holdings, Zhong Haa Mining, Outokumpu Exploration, Marlborough Gold Mines and CRA Exploration. QML intends to conduct first-pass drilling on this new target area once scheduled drilling at the Develin Creek and Artillery Road prospects is complete.
