No One’s Saying It, But Your Giving Gap Is a Messaging Problem! You’re asking for support, but are you speaking the language of every generation in your congregation? Younger members want to know exactly how their gift will make an impact today. Older members want reassurance that their giving will leave a lasting legacy. But if your messaging doesn’t address both, you’re missing out on building a financially strong future. In this video, CEO Paul Hosch breaks down how to build trust across generations, tell stories that move hearts, and introduce legacy giving that secures your church’s mission for years to come. On this Indigenous People’s Day, we are still here. 🖤 Honoring resilience and brilliance! ✨ Recognizing joys and successes, not just suffering. 🙌🏾 Praying for liberation, peace, and trusting into indigenous wisdom to heal our world. 🌍 May we all be free from colonialism ✊🏾 💡As an individual, how are you reflecting on your duty to build a more just, healing world? 💡As a community member, how are you relating to the original peoples of the land you reside on? What connections can you make? 💡On the systemic level, especially if you lead an organization, how do you recognize this day and the contributions of native peoples? What are policies, practices, and systems that are anchored in control or center privilege that you can further decolonize? Did you know The Teaching Well is retaining 75% of Indigenous educators in our programs? We ride for Native educators and we won't stop fighting until they feel honored inside and out of the profession. PS: This is a pre-scheduled post because The Teaching Well is closed today- resting, reconnecting, and recommitting to collective liberation. #nonprofitleadership #indigenouspeoplesday #collectiveliberation #educatorwellness #nativepride #teacherretention #healing

What an eye-opening and insightful session💡 I should have shared this earlier. Some significant takeaways: - As CSO members or leaders, we hardly think of our contribution to the country’s economy. We are so caught up in our philanthropic work and uplifting our communities, that we rarely consider how much we contribute through job creation and utilization of locally owned products and services. - The hostility experienced between Governments and CSOs in some countries is sometimes driven by the narrative that CSOs are potential launchpads for political opposition groups. - There is a continued need to build the capacity of CSOs in generating meaningful data. Sharing impact stories is key! - African giving is broader and much more interesting than I thought ❤️ Follow EPIC-Africa for some interesting insights on the African CSO landscape.
🚨 We’re Live! 🚨 Join us NOW for the launch of EPIC-Africa’s groundbreaking research, revealing that 65% of African Civil Society Organizations receive individual donations - reshaping the narrative of African philanthropy as we know it. 👉 Watch live on YouTube: https://lnkd.in/dVWARxVj Discover how this shift is empowering civil society and driving sustainable impact across the continent.
