ALS Northwest is committed to enhancing the quality of life of people living with ALS through the many free programs we offer to individuals and families affected by ALS. Our programs are designed to meet these essential care needs as well as the emotional needs of those in our community and caregivers. We provide services across Oregon, SW Washington and advocacy for people with ALS across the Pacific Northwest. ALS Northwest strives to provide a supportive community and valuable resources to empower individuals living with ALS to lead fulfilling lives until the day a cure is found. The ideal candidate for this role will have: ✅ College degree required or the equivalent in education and work experience. ✅ 7+ years of progressive management experience with exposure to non-profit entities. ✅ 5+ years successful management of financial oversight, budgeting, planning and meeting specific financial targets with budgets over $1,000,000. ✅ Experience working with and in communities navigating healthcare, life altering and/or terminal diagnoses. ✅ Experience leading strategic planning and implementation that enables sustainable maturation and growth of the organization. We've partnered with Family Promise of Tualatin Valley to hire their next Executive Director. Family Promise of Tualatin Valley's (FPTV) mission is to equip vulnerable families and individuals to end the cycle of homelessness through a community-based response. We accomplish this by providing emergency shelter and wraparound services that include case management and housing navigation, for up to 70 households in our Tigard “Bridge to Home” shelter. We also work with folks facing eviction to keep them housed through landlord mediation and rental assistance. The ideal candidate for this role will: ✅ 5+ years of experience building and reporting on financials and budgets. ✅ 5+ years of experience in Program Management including evaluation, reporting, trauma-informed service provision. ✅ Experience building relationships with community members, government leaders, contractors, funders and clients. ✅ Experience overseeing and monitoring capital investment, construction, and property management. ✅ Trauma-informed training related to client engagement and staff management.
