NORA – The Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium reposted this
PhD candidates Thomas Wallace and Mahsa Kalashami were two of 250 participants who participated in the Northern Lights Deep Learning Conference (NLDL) 2024 🤖❄👨🎓 🤖 The opportunity to network with other researchers with similar interests and experience the aurora borealis are two of many things they have looked forward to while visiting UiT- The Arctic University of Norway 👨🎓 - I have gotten to meet people that work on a lot similar things to my research but also in directions I did not expect. It has certainly been very valuable to me, says Wallace. 👩🎓 - An important thing is to get in touch with people who have had the same experiences as you in their PhD run. Participating in this conference has been a great chance for me to communicate with and learn from others, adds Kalashami. Did you know that you can submit abstracts for NLDL 2025?
