Today’s dScience Lunch seminar was a full house 🏚 as Professor Antonio Martini from The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (Department of Informatics) presented on “Better Software for All: Using LLMs to Improve Software Development Practices” 🤩. It was fantastic to see a diverse group of attendees from industry, start-ups, and academia coming together to explore research and network. This is exactly the kind of engagement we aim for at these popular lunch events! Thank you too all participants for an excellent Q&A 👏 👏 Next week, Thursday 19th of September, we hope to see you all in Science Library at University of Oslo where Henrik Skaug Sætra will have the talk: Don’t trust your senses! ✔ The presentation will explore the impact of generative AI as it replicates human-level content (images, sound, music, video), raising questions about individual and societal effects. As AI challenges our ability to trust our senses, we must adapt how we seek information and ensure reliable sources of truth. The talk concludes with a discussion on the implications for the future of democracy. Read more about the event here: https://lnkd.in/dqYyVnEB Hope to see you there!
