🌟 Values: Personal compass or leadership GPS? For most of us - it's both. Our leadership and personal values are inevitably intertwined. Recently, I immersed myself in Teva Pharmaceuticals senior leader development program, Leadership Across & Beyond. Four intensive days of reflection and peer learning revealed some profound insights about leadership and life: 1️⃣ Value-driven leadership: Values are rooted in childhood and refined in adulthood, driving our decisions and behaviors. 2️⃣ Challenging decisions: When navigating highly complex situations, leaders rely on their values to guide them. 3️⃣ Personal sacrifices have a limit: When the scale tips too far, bold leaders refocus on what matters most to refuel. 4️⃣ People-centric leadership: Across all functions we are inspired and motivated by the people we serve - our teams, colleagues, patient-consumers, HCPs. 🌍 Our universal truth: When we prioritize people in our decisions, business success naturally follows. Feeling very inspired and refilled after three days with this incredible group of people taking part in the Copenhagen-module of the Responsible Leadership programme by Rehumanize Institute and Accenture. Some key take aways on my part: ⭐️ Future focus: Be mindful of signs - they could be building up to a trend - and that trend could have major impact on the way we operate. ⭐️Follow the money to better grasp which of the signs are more likely to build up to an impactful trend. Also look into the “dark money”. ⭐️ Unbias your bias! We learn and therefore we can (and should) unlearn and relearn when we’re conscious of our bias ⭐️ metrics are key, not only as a measurement tool but as a transformation tool, it can drive the change These are just a small number of the vast number of take aways after this module, thank you to everyone for very fruitful discussions and thank you so very much Rehumanize Institute for a fantastic arrangement, and Accenture for the opportunity to take part in this 🙏🏻
