It'll be very interesting to see how this does. 🌟 Wind Catching Demo, a subsidiary of Wind Catching Systems, has secured a NOK 1.2 billion (EUR 102 million) grant from Enova to deploy a 40 MW commercial demonstrator of its multi-turbine floating wind platform off the coast of Norway. 🎯 The project, featuring one Windcatcher unit with 40 turbines, aims to validate the technology’s efficiency and cost-effectiveness by 2029. The grant is conditional on meeting the progress plan, including licensing and final investment approval.
