Sarytogan Graphite Limited (ASX:SGA) has moved quickly to get boots on the ground after pegging a #copper porphyry prospect, Baynazar, which is just 20 kilometres west of the flagship Sarytogan Graphite Project in Central Kazakhstan. The company has kicked off a soil sampling program and is preparing for a high-resolution aeromagnetic survey. This 282-square-kilometre project is a new exploration licence application within the Central Asian Orogenic Belt (CAOB), host to multiple large copper-gold porphyry deposits. In Kazakhstan, those deposits include the Bozshakol, Aktogai, Kounrad, Nurkazgan and Koksa operations, each containing more than 3-6 million tonnes of copper, alongside the Oyu Tolgoi mine in neighbouring Mongolia, which boasts a resource of 30 million tonnes of copper and 44 million ounces of gold. #ASXNews Aeromagnetic Survey Completed Covering Entire Chilwa Project Chilwa Minerals is pleased to announce that it has completed an extensive Aeromagnetic and Radiometric Survey over the entire 708km2 Chilwa Critical Minerals Project. • The Lake Chilwa area contains a number of carbonatites, which are known source rocks for rare earth mineralisation. The aeromag survey results will be used to better define the carbonatites within the Project area for follow up assessment. • The Company anticipates the modelled and interpreted survey data to be available in mid-July. • Diamond drilling will commence following a review of the aeromag data for improved targeting. #CHW’s Managing Director, Cadell Buss, commented: “Whilst we are firmly focused on the current drilling program, the initial field results are an interesting surprise and it makes sense for the Company to broaden its exploration program, particularly in the clays that underly the mineral sands horizon. Solis Minerals Ltd (ASX:SLM, TSX-V:SLMN, OTCQB:SLMFF) has been busy on the trail of high-grade #copper at the Cinto Project in Peru, where it has recently wrapped up a first pass geochemical program. The company has also struck an access deal with the local Carumbraya community to fast-track drill exploration at the location. Next up is a systematic mapping and sampling of outcropping copper mineralisation. Some surface grab samples from Cinto have delivered results of up to 7.14% copper, with mineralisation mapped over a 200-metre by 100-metre area in historical workings associated with considerable alteration and structural deformation. Large structures are evident in a 100-metre-wide exposed area with abundant copper oxide mineralisation in historical artisanal workings. We are excited to share we have executed an Option Agreement with Bastion Minerals Limited (ASX: BMO) for the right to acquire 100% of Bastion’s Cometa Project in Chile, located near Hot Chili’s Costa Fuego Copper-Gold Project in the coastal range of the #Atacama Region, Chile. Historical work by Bastion and previous explorers, including surface mapping, soil and rock sampling, and ground geophysics, identified several targets prospective for the discovery of breccia-hosted and iron-oxide-copper-gold mineralisation. Should further exploration prove successful, any potential future Mineral Resources may be processed at Hot Chili’s planned centralized processing facilities, as outlined in the Company’s June 2023 PEA (see announcement dated 28 June 2023). Execution of the Option follows successful due diligence and is another step in Hot Chili’s consolidation strategy for the Costa Fuego copper project. Aruma Resources Ltd (ASX:AAJ) has found multiple zones of high-grade ionic clay #RareEarthElements (REEs) at its Salmon Gums Project in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, including the highest grade REE result in the area to date. The Salmon Gums Project consists of three exploration licences covering a total area of 360 square kilometres, some 200 kilometres south of Kalgoorlie. This area is fertile terrain not only for REE prospectivity but also offers potential for gold and lithium. The company’s surface sampling activities delivered the record REE result of 8,700 parts per million (ppm) total rare earth oxides (TREO) with high-value #neodymium and #praseodymium (NdPr) oxides constituting 22.5% of the TREO grade. Pursuit Minerals (ASX:PUR) is developing its Rio Grande Sur project in the Salta province, part of South America’s Lithium Triangle – the world’s largest source of lithium from salt flats. It’s in prime real estate next to established operations and developments such as Arcadium Lithium’s (ASX:LTM) El Fenix and Sal de Vida, POSCO’s Sal de Oro and Ganfeng’s Mariana projects, among others.
