Spent the last few days offline with holiday festivities, family celebrations, refueling and reflection time. All of this was essential for me…hosting a family gathering and giving fully of myself to add joy, fantastic food and fun for people I love. It was also incredibly rewarding to share the kitchen with my son, Luca, who is so much more together in the kitchen than me. Because of him, we were able to put a fabulous holiday meal on the table before bedtime! This holiday time was also special because l looked at the year ahead and all that I wish to create from a place of true alignment with what matters most to me. It’s amazing how staying connected with our core values provides clarity in everything else. And I mean real clarity. - Desires that are a Hell Yes! - Desires that were created in my head not in my heart, of semi-interest. - Desires that aren’t really desired at all, just things I thought should be on the drawing board. It makes for a whole simpler process and frankly one that is likely to succeed. Trying to do “too much” that you’re really not invested in produces a whole lot of complexity and loss of confidence because it doesn’t usually come to pass. Try it for yourself.
