We are pleased to announce a presentation by Joanna Krzywda, PhD, International Relations Specialist at HERMEX Adam Wojciech Czech, during the upcoming IGMNiR - Economic Chamber of Non-Ferrous Metals and Recycling - VDM Verband Deutscher Metallhändler und Recycler e. V. - BDSV Bundesvereinigung Deutscher Stahlrecycling- und Entsorgungsunternehmen e. V. - Metaal Recycling Federatie (MRF) Meeting on September 3, 2024, at Hotel Warszawa ***** in Warsaw.
Joanna Krzywda will provide a comprehensive overview of HERMEX’s evolution from a company initially focused on trading scrap metal to an industry leader in metallurgical waste processing and product manufacturing.
As she stated,
"In our presentation, we would like to introduce HERMEX Adam Wojciech Czech. In the beginning, we dealt exclusively with buying and selling scrap metal. As time went by, we changed our focus from trading to researching ways of extracting metal from metallurgical waste and manufacturing other products. HERMEX has patented many solutions and methods of waste management in Poland and many other countries. We will show you how we use this technology to produce additives for the metallurgical and foundry industries: aluminium granules and ingots, insulating and exothermic fillers, granulated synthetic slag, and additives for the production of mineral wool."
Founded in 1990 in Herby, HERMEX began as a non-ferrous scrap metal trading enterprise. Over the years, the company has distinguished itself by developing and implementing patented technologies for processing metal waste. HERMEX has expanded its scope to include material preparation for further processing through advanced techniques such as crushing, grinding, sorting, briquetting, and granulating. Today, HERMEX collaborates with numerous steel plants and foundries both in Poland and internationally, including partnerships across Germany, Italy, Croatia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Switzerland, and the USA.
HERMEX’s active participation in international conferences and trade fairs has solidified its reputation as a pioneer in the metal recycling sector. The company's innovations are not only advancing the sustainability of metallurgical processes but also contributing to the overall efficiency and competitiveness of the industry.
Innovation is paramount in the metal recycling industry, and HERMEX’s dedication to research and development underscores the critical role that advanced technologies play in sustainable waste management. We anticipate Krzywda’s presentation will offer valuable insights into the future of our industry and inspire further collaboration among stakeholders.
