This a set design appreciation post. The thoughtfulness behind the New York Jets' layout of the new set for season three of their podcast, The Exchange, is paying off for their partners WynnBET and Audi of America. Logo inclusion in content is important for generating brand awareness and association with the team, and one factor that helps increase that value is time on screen. The Jets have made sure there’s always a logo on screen no matter the camera angle and tightness of the shot. Not only are the logos on screen, but also, they’re placed perfectly, right over a speaker’s shoulder, so they’re neither obstructed nor a distraction to the viewer. Logo clarity also is a big value driver for partners in team content. Adding a watermark to a video is an option, and one that many will take in this situation, but with video, there are so many chances that watermark won’t pop against the background. This set design takes things to the next level. → It ensures partner logos feel naturally integrated into the content → The consistent and contrasting backgrounds the logos sit on make them easy to read → Logo appearances in tight shots make them feel larger and more prominent in those moments Very cool to see how this podcast has evolved with each passing season. #sportsbusiness #sportsmarketing #sponsorship
