The Brightline Trains team surveyed Floridians as a record number are making summer travel plans. My personal favorite…they’re more afraid of traffic than alligators! The survey also found 80% of South and Central Florida parents are planning a family “staycation,” “nearcation”, or day trip this summer. And, while 64% of parents say they’ll take a family road trip of at least 5 hours in length this summer, they do have some concerns. I think we can all relate. Read more about our survey results in the link below and why taking the train is a bright idea this summer: https://lnkd.in/eMDdkBEN

Planning a perfect trip isn’t always a walk in the park—sometimes, it's a hike through multiple! Here's a peek at the custom itineraries I’ve tackled recently: --A week to explore Glacier, Banff, and Jasper, with flights in and out of Bozeman. Between snagging reservations in Glacier on specific days and arranging travel logistics to utilize cheaper flights—it was a full-on strategic mission! --A lively group of 15 setting out to conquer Yellowstone. The challenge? Keeping everyone together and covering the vast expanses of the park. Mission accepted! -- A couple eager to see the wonders of Teton, Yellowstone, and Utah's Mighty 5 during peak season. We navigated through tight budgets and even tighter reservation slots! --Daniel and I are gearing up for our own epic 100-day road trip this year, hitting 21 parks from July to October. Planning? It’s intense but thrilling! The age of travel agents might seem like a thing of the past, but in these scenarios, a helping hand can transform planning from stress to success. Would you consider hiring someone to help plan your next big adventure? Why or why not? Drop your thoughts below! #nationalparks #usnationalparks #TripPlanning

Great insights on road trips in #wallethub. This summer, 75% of American adults plan to take some sort of road trip, with around 33% planning to travel more than 250 miles from home. Taking a summer road trip can be a very exciting way to experience a new place, but with the prices of gas, food and accommodations heavily impacted by inflation, you’ll want to be in a state that makes this type of vacation affordable. Top three states for road trips identified in this study are Texas, Minnesota, New York. #travel #hospitality #hotelbroker

The number one road trip on my list? The coast of California! What summer road trip is on your list? Planning ahead for a summer road trip ensures a smooth and enjoyable journey. Start by outlining your desired route, considering scenic stops and attractions along the way. Check your vehicle's condition and schedule any necessary maintenance or repairs. Or alternatively, rent a vehicle, an Airstream could be the perfect glamping and road trip experience rolled into one. Pack essentials like snacks, water, emergency supplies, and entertainment for the road. Research accommodations and make reservations in advance, especially during peak travel times. Consider downloading navigation apps or maps for offline use and familiarize yourself with alternate routes in case of unexpected road closures or traffic. Part of the fun of a road trip is being flexible and open to spontaneous adventures while enjoying the freedom of the open road.
