Today we want to recognise 'World Suicide Prevention Day' Suicide is a major public health challenge, with more than 700,000 deaths each year globally. We want to help 'change the narrative on suicide', which is all about transforming how we perceive this complex issue and shifting from a culture of silence and stigma to one of openness, understanding, and support. Every year on September 10th, this day is all about shining a light on the issue, breaking down the stigma, and spreading the word among organisations, governments, and the public that suicides can be prevented. Remember, our 24/7 support lines and crisis café are always here if you, or someone you know, is feeling down and needs someone to talk to. 💙 #WorldSuicidePreventionDay
