On Friday, NVTC’s Executive Circle participated in an insightful session led by leadership behavioral coach Andrew Deutscher, founder of Regenerate. The topic was: "Managing Energy in Headwinds."   Andrew started by discussing the concept of human energy—the internal strength and vitality required to sustain physical, emotional, and mental well-being.   A few key takeaways: 🌀 Reframing negative thoughts is critical, as they often stem from deep care and can be redirected positively. 🤝 Acceptance means coming to terms with all possible outcomes, which helps alleviate stress. 🌱 We explored the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and the skill of cognitive reappraisal—the ability to reshape stress into something manageable by interpreting challenges in a more realistic and optimistic way.   This session was a timely reminder of the importance of managing energy and mindset, especially when leading through micro and macro challenges.   Interested in growing as a leader?
