250 of the right people working together can change the world…ok maybe not directly, but check my math. The AEC industry designs, builds and imagines the future of society and its needs. So, I really only need 250 of the right AEC professionals to change the world. Let’s start here- https://lnkd.in/ethGBJcf

Senior Software Engineering Manager, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Professional Scrum Master, Java, Microservices
I often draw inspiration from Howard Roark, the iconic character from Ayn Rand's "The Fountainhead." Roark believed in challenging conventional standards and refusing to compromise with established norms. He emphasized the importance of purpose in every aspect of architecture, believing that every space and line should serve a specific problem-solving function, rejecting unnecessary embellishments that lack utility. This principle resonates deeply with me, especially in the context of navigating complex cross-functional projects. I frequently encounter processes that seem convoluted or burdensome, and I make it my mission to uncover their underlying purpose. I firmly believe that processes should exist to streamline our work and enhance productivity, not hinder it. However, it often requires diligent investigation to discern the true problem that a process aims to solve. Once I grasp this purpose, I can effectively evaluate its efficacy and make informed decisions about its utility. In today's fast-paced world, marked by demands for efficiency, scalability, and adaptability, it's imperative for technology leaders to prioritize growth, standardization, and the implementation of optimal processes. By ensuring that our processes align with our goals and truly add value, without weighing us down, we can drive meaningful progress and success in our endeavors. #processesForPurpose #technologyLeaders
