Ohio Business Leaders and those in other states, I'm not so sure 🙃. But hey! If you are scaling your business and need an expert team of financial strategists that your business can grow with, get with Tenesha Hartgrove, CPA, EA, PFS, CFP®, owner of Ncrease Financial Services. Read the article and then schedule an appointment! Mention “Abracadabra” for a free surprise jk 🤣. The Ohio Society of CPAs great article 👊🏽!
Tenesha Hartgrove, CPA, EA, PFS, CFP®, has worn many hats in her caree, including in the banking, real estate, and #accounting professions! The 2023 Power of Change honoree is currently the owner of Ncrease Financial Services. “I like to be challenged, and once I've conquered something, I move on to something else. But with what I do now, it's so fast, it's always changing, and there’s always another challenge,” said Hartgrove. Hartgrove believes that the Power of Change recognition, announced at the Women, Wealth and Wellness Conference last summer, is very meaningful because it shows that her peers recognize her hard work and the positive impact that she is making for her clients and within the accounting profession. Read more about how Hartgrove appreciates the challenges and opportunities of accounting and her road to becoming a Power of Change Honoree here! https://lnkd.in/gXc5dDFp

Friday Afternoon Takeaway #20 Last week I had the absolute pleasure of attending the Women in Banking and Finance - UK Awards for Achievement. 🏆 ✨What an event! ✨ I was overwhelmed by the passion that filled the room. It was an honour to hear from the award winners; their career, life and personal journeys were truly inspiring! 🙌🏼💫 Following the event, I want to share with you my top 3 takeaways: 1. It’s a privilege to climb a ladder that has NOT been pulled up by those who came before me. 🪜🧗♀️ The world of finance has not always been a welcoming place for women. Since starting my own career, I have received a huge amount of guidance and support from women and men alike. I’ve advocated in previous posts for the importance of learning lessons from our own mistakes and experiences. Passing those learnings on to others is of great importance, so that collectively they may become the norm. Passing on the importance and benefits of a thought-diverse workforce is one such lesson. A lesson now backed by a hell of a lot of evidence! 2. Show up with your data and analytics 👩🏼💻📊 Statistics show that women often downplay our achievements and undersell the value of our work. Being able to provide evidence that speaks our proposals and achievements can be a way to combat this. Personally, I feel this should be applied throughout our BAU activities and not just saved for those ‘tricky’ end of year discussions. Having an audit trail of our thoughts can help us see if and where we went wrong, allowing us to improve moving forward. To quote Mrs Carter my old maths teacher “Show your workings ladies!” 3. Celebrate your success and know your worth 🥂🍾 WIBF know how to host a party, that’s for sure, but the awards were far more than just a party. To me, they were a celebration in honour of decades’ worth of hard work and perseverance by women, and their allies, in the workplace. One award winner spoke about how, having received her award, she now understood it was her ‘duty’ to be a cheerleader for herself and other women in our industry. By being a cheerleader in this way, young women entering our industry will be taught the importance and true value of their achievements. Thank you again to WIBF for such an inspiring evening!🥂 #womeninbankingandfinance #achievement #fridayafternontakeaway

This Women's History Month, Gladstone Wealth Partners is inspired by the courage and resilience of women throughout history. This month, we celebrate not only the achievements of women in the past but also those who are actively shaping the future—especially in the world of finance. The landscape of financial services is evolving, with more advisors seeking independence from traditional wirehouse and brokerage models. This shift towards autonomy is about more than just financial gains; it's about creating a legacy, making an impact, and empowering clients on a personal level. Simultaneously, the dynamics of financial decision-making are evolving, with more women controlling household economics and the balance of wealth continuing to shift toward women. With the growing influence and economic power of women, the financial industry stands on the cusp of a transformative era—one that promises greater independence, equity, and recognition for women and women advisors. At Gladstone Wealth Partners, we believe that women financial advisors are at the forefront of this transformation. Your unique perspective, empathy, and unparalleled ability to connect with clients are invaluable. As we navigate the future of finance, Gladstone is here to support women on their journey as financial advisors, including on their path to independence. Let's take this month to honor the trailblazing women who have paved the way and who inspire one another to break new ground. Together, we can continue to build a more just society and a more inclusive financial industry. Here's to the courageous women of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Happy Women's History Month! #WomensHistoryMonth #FinancialAdvisor #WomeninFinance
