You see here at YandT we never advertised [yet] we are busy thank God. because people know when they need something done they will have on time. Alot of our customers actually do not use me for their big business. I never figured out why perhaps I should learn how to give KICK BACKS to the purchase officer? I once asked one of them, you use us for all your printing what's up with the scrubs? I promise I'll beat everyone's price besides China. and if you do everything by us I'll give a better price on everything. He replied. You sell scrubs too? Seems there are people who will rather stick to flashy ads rather than quality service and price! at times it's nauseating to watch how careless and reckless, purchasers go about their job. they think the point is to get the job done. but in fact it's more important to get the job done in a cost effective way and on timely manner and if all 3 are not combined the whole purchase is kinda reckless. #embroidery #printing #swag #analysis

It's been an interesting week. As recruiters we seem to spend our time searching in an ever decreasing talent pool. For example, Prepress was once a great entry into the Print & Packaging sectors. But now, where have all the Prepress Operators gone? (Not to mention Press Operators and Print Finishers) Is it a symptom of continuing automation? Did we lose so many during Covid to other sectors? Are companies paying enough for these skills? We think the answer is probably yes. But it's not the only reason. We'd love to hear your thoughts and maybe what the industry can do about it.
