Let’s talk about user experience! 🤳 User experience is one of our main concerns when designing products, and a main distinction of IDCanopys solutions☂️. We believe it is at the very center of what our customers look in an online onboarding solution... however, we see that in the market, that is not reflected as it should! A recent study by Forrester Consulting found that "Improve customer experience" was considered the top challenge for financial institutions when over 1000 decision-makers with responsibility for financial crime compliance strategy were consulted. We are more glad than surprised by the figure. But what's in our heads when we talk about user experience? What should one pay attention to, and how can one possibly measure it? Let us give you 3 tips we always keep in mind when thinking about user experience. They are not the only ones to take into account, of course, but we believe they are total "musts" when approaching this topic: *Time: lengthy processes are processes with a bad user experience. As simple as that. *ID availability: in a world where the nationality and country of residence, and sometimes work, are not necessarily the same, offering a wide range of country coverage and a wide range of documents covered will make a difference. The whole experience might be easily ruined if you don’t provide a system for some nationalities or if you don’t accept certain valid #ID documents (like ID cards, resident permits and others) *Background processes and "Auto KYC": There is a family of processes that don’t require user participation to be conducted. Fetching trusted information with the authorization of the user from the mobile phone operator, for example, will provide first-class trusted information with barely any participation of the user in the process. #kyc #ux #userexperience #customerexperience #kyb #onlineidentity #automation

For instance, finding transaction history, statements, or specific account details can be cumbersome. Overloaded Interface: The dashboard can appear cluttered with too much information presented at once. Users are presented with numerous alerts, offers, and various account details all on the same screen, which can be overwhelming. Performance Issues: During peak times, users have reported slow loading times when accessing their account overview, which can be frustrating when they need quick information. Limited Customization: Users have limited ability to customize their dashboard to prioritize the information they find most important, such as recent transactions, upcoming bills, or credit score updates. Suggested Improvements: Streamline Navigation: Introduce a more intuitive menu layout that allows users to access key features like transaction history, statements, and account settings with fewer clicks. Implementing a persistent sidebar or a top navigation bar with clear categories can help. Example: The dashboard of platforms like Mint or Robinhood provides quick access to account summaries, transactions, and other essential features with a single click, reducing navigation complexity.
