Now it’s a game of brining the cost of these processes even lower so we can further delay that type of problem. I do think there’s a lot of “jumping the gun” in industry, or worse, people in charge of factories that don’t know what they’re really getting into when they say “I want a robot (or an automation) in my process” It’s a balancing act. I’m interested to see where it goes

6moI have always found in all my time working with industrial robots/automation in industry. If you get the people engaged with the arms and the automation the productivity and the quality goes up. Naming the arms usually breaks the ice and it kind gets the inanimate to become a part of the team. Czechia Poland South Africa Seven side And others gives me the confidence to posts this. Some of the names Hilary and Bill palletizers Moby Dick and Jaws Pickers in a fish factory Chicken Lickin an arm used for cutting breasts from carcasses Arnie and Predator arc welder and spot arm Einstein a vision arm Luke and Darth Vader Laser welder/plasma cutter.
