Sales isn't quantity over quality 😠 Sales has turned into one of those jobs where, "if you're not good at anything else, you get a job in sales" ‼️ This has bred a new generation of salesperson, a generation that 45% of the time, miss target. In turn, the need to scale in corporate has bred an environment in businesses, where sales people are rotated every 6 months, and treated with the most miniscule amount of respect. 🤏 Thinking back to my time at a company that rhymes with ShmeckATrade. Sales isn't quantity, you can't just pitch slap a thousand people, have 10 people say yes, and consider yourself good. Sales is about building a relationship, solving a genuine need, prospecting the right people. You hit your target by caring about the problem and the solution. 📈 Would love to hear your thought, is sales too quantity driven? 🤔

Sales is sales. Or is it? A few months ago when I was interviewing for my current position I was asked what I think makes a great sales person. For me the answer is simple: Emotional Intelligence. A sales person is only going to achieve so much with blind confidence and ambition. To be truly great, we have to do the hard inner work that comes along with rejections, failures, and success. Sales is always inside.

Why sales - Do you enjoy competing and winning? Sales is the perfect field for you, as it rewards your drive and determination. - Do you want to succeed regardless of your background? Sales is (often) a fair and transparent profession, where your results matter more than your resume. - Do you have a passion for helping others? Sales is all about finding and solving the needs and challenges of your customers. - Do you like to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives? Sales allows you to build meaningful and lasting relationships with a wide range of people. - Do you have confidence in yourself and your abilities? Sales is a career where you have a lot of control and influence, and where your self-belief is essential. - Do you also want to earn a good income? Sales can be very lucrative, as you get paid for your performance and value. So, is sales for you? If so, why not you? Why not now?

Sales can be a challenging field, requiring a combination of intelligence, strategy, and resilience. To succeed in sales, one must be task-driven and able to handle rejection with ease. While closing deals is undoubtedly rewarding, rejection is an inevitable part of the process. However, understanding WHY you were rejected can make all the difference. By analyzing and learning from past rejections, you can become even smarter, more calculated, and more successful in your sales endeavors. Remember, rejection is not a failure. It's an opportunity to learn and grow. So, don't get discouraged by rejection. Instead, take it as a learning experience and use it to your advantage. With every rejection, you're one step closer to success. Stay resilient, stay focused, and keep pushing forward.

Sharing value and insightful tips to get qualified meetings💡 Talking about hard truths, growth, and conversion
What is a sales person? Too many people have this negative perception of what sales actually is.. At some points I understand why. Nobody likes to be called up out of the blue to hear a pitch🫠 ..Listening to someone who is desperate and forcing you to buy something you don't even need. But This is far away what most sales people are doing Sales is not about taking as much money from someone as possible.❌ Sales is about helping a person to make the right decision.🫴🏻✨ Which means that as a sales person, the job is to understand the prospects current situation, finding what is holding them back from achieving their goals/fulfilling a pain, and helping them to be aware of what they can do to solve it💡 Sales is like a consultation The expert's job is to find the obstacles and guide the prospect the way to achieve their goals. Just like a doctor's job is to diagnose a person's pain and guide them to a solution that will help them remove the pain💡 (A quick selfie from the office👋🏻) Let me know your thoughts!

Sales People are my kind of people. This gig is not for everyone, in fact most “other” people couldn’t do what sales people do. The daily showing up, the grinding behind the scenes, the pushing forward despite so much being outside of our control. When we’re winning, 🥇 we’re seen as heroes and when losing can be seen as zeros. Be able to explain, manage up your plan, activity, results, small wins, blockers and where you need help. Do this daily, weekly, monthly. The best of us are resilient, focused, humble, and know what we control. Despite being under the spotlight. Most of all, when we are the under dogs, we need to not stop with mastery of our sales craft. We have to double down, get better, try new things, come together as teams, support one another. We have to insulate ourselves from negativity amd foster cultures. Hard periods pass and winning resumes, and those “other” people? I’d give them a month, maximum in your role. It’s hard, but when you win again, which you will, it’s beautiful. So, if you’re a seller having a tough time right now, like so many are. Hold up your head, get to work, ask for help, lean into your team, and execute to the best of your ability. This too shall pass. You’re winning days will swing round again, and so the story of being a seller goes. Focus on what YOU control ❤️🥇#sales

What is the right mindset in Sales? Think about yourself. Do you really like when someone is aggressively selling something to you? Do you feel OK when you are being attacked by a sales person who is hungry for your money? Do you trust a sales executive who doesn’t care about and wouldn’t listen to what your company really needs? Would you buy from a sales representative who is artificially pleasant and you feel something is wrong there? That is exactly the type of attitude and behavior you would like your sales team to avoid – no matter if you are in a B2B or B2C business, no matter if it’s a sales rep doing a telephone sale worth 100 USD, or a senior sales executive negotiating a multi-million deal with a client. The true sales approach starts with the right mindset. To succeed in sales, you have to be prepared to serve, to plunge into the customer world, be understanding and caring. This way you build trust. Trust is the basis for a successful sale. You may want to think that sales job is not about selling to a customer, it’s about helping the customer to buy your product or service and about making somebody’s life better. This doesn’t mean you forget about your numbers. You want yourself and your company to prosper. Why? Because this way you’ll be able to even better serve your customers and satisfy their needs in the future. So, you have a mission, and you do your best to close each sale at the highest possible price!
