Every year, nearly 26,000 people are reported missing in Sweden, leaving families in deep anguish and uncertainty. But there's a group shining a light of hope: Missing People Sweden Since their founding in Gothenburg in 2012, they have grown into a nationwide organization with volunteers spread across the country. These volunteers are the heart of the organization, generously giving their time to help reunite missing persons with their families. But the search is no easy task. It requires meticulous efforts in difficult terrain and remote locations. This is where GroupTalk comes into the picture. Since 2015, we at GroupTalk have proudly supported Missing People both financially and with the GroupTalk app, enabling effective group communication through Push to Talk during their search efforts to find missing peoples. Through GroupTalk, search teams can effectively communicate with each other in groups, thereby streamlining the search and increasing the chances of reuniting missing persons with their loved ones. A major advantage of GroupTalk is that Missing People's users can use their own smartphones as walkie-talkies / two way radios over the existing 4G/5G mobile networks during their missions. We at GroupTalk appreciate the value of Missing People's work and see their humanitarian commitment as an indispensable part of society. Therefore, we are delighted to be part of their important work.
