NOVA Construction Services’ Post

#WayBackWednesday NOVA Construction Services has a long history of preserving historically significant structures and landmarks all over New York City. Today, we look back to 2011 to highlight 344 West 72nd Street, one of the many remarkable projects our team undertaken. 🏙 344 West 72nd Street, also known as The Chatsworth, stands out for its Beaux-Arts style décor and design. The entrance features an ornate canopy that not only reflects the era in which it was created but also holds significant importance in our company's history, as we had the privilege to restore it. 🏛Our work included both the rehabilitation and complete recreation of many of the canopy's pieces. From glass templates to detailed metalworking and painting, we successfully brought a piece of New York City History back to life. Take a look at the finished result, along with some behind-the-scenes photos of how this incredible result was achieved! Project Details: RAND Engineering & Architecture, DPC

Amazing project where I learned so much from my father about cast iron and steel elements 🛠️. He is featured in one of the photos here! 📸 Absolutely love what he did for us at Nova. A strong foundation is key to any company! 💪 #Engineering #CastIron #CanopyRestoration Can you spot him!??👀
