🤝 Technical Assistance for “Türkiye in Horizon Europe” Project has been launched with a successful Kick-Off Meeting on September 16, 2024. The Project, which is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye, with T.C. Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı | Republic Of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology as the Contracting Authority and TÜBİTAK as the Beneficiary, will be implemented under the Competitive Sectors Program by the Consortium led by Sistem Global. 🚀 The Project will increase access to Horizon Europe Program for Turkish institutions, organizations, SMEs, and researchers, and will strengthen Türkiye's R&D capacity. 🎯 Together with our consortium partners Leitat, INL, Artech, and IKADA, we aim to enhance Türkiye’s capacity in Science, Technology, and Innovation over the next 42 months, taking significant steps towards developments in these critical fields. 🙌 We hope that this project, which will contribute to strengthening Türkiye's innovation ecosystem and reaching sustainable development goals, will achieve successful results for our country and all stakeholders. #SistemGlobal #horizoneurope #Innovation #tübitak #Leitat #INL #Artech #İKADA #CompetitiveSectors

📍CluBE participated in the European Cluster Conference 2024 that took place in Brussels on 7-8 May. The conference aimed to highlight the vital role of clusters in advancing EU industrial priorities and to engage stakeholders in discussions on ongoing Commission initiatives. 🟩The conference addressed pivotal topics— the Green Transition, the Digital Transition and Resilience Building—providing a deep dive into key drivers like skills, funding, and technology. The conference raised awareness about the role of clusters, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, and stimulated debates on clusters’ possible actions to shape the future of the EU Single Market. ✅Furthermore, the conference showcased the results of EU cluster initiatives under various funding opportunities, emphasizing the COSME/Single Market Programme support. The first day of the Week of Innovative Regions in Europe 2024 has wrapped up with a give-and-take on how to strengthen #innovation ecosystems in EU regions. “Closer collaboration between #science and #industry is key to promoting innovation,” according to Marina Papageorgiou of the Cyprus-based Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East – Climate and Atmosphere Research (EMME-CARE) project, but she pointed out it is “not always easy to achieve.” COOPERATE, a project at the Eindhoven University of Technology involving counterparts in several other EU countries has been cited as a successful example of how to build strong regional relationships. Project coordinator Ntorina Antoni explains it provides a platform for #knowledge transfer and research #partnerships between leading #research institutions.
