What about packaging? Yes, there are plenty of packaging items (without added PFAS of course) that are not only compostable, they can also serve as valuable feedstock items as well as aides in behaviour change to increase volumes of food scraps diverted from landfill. A recent audit of ACT bins showed considerable volumes of packaged food in red lidded bins.
